Parklücken explores gaps and their potential as generative urban form. Gaps are the physical presence of the future, and hence should be preserved as indeterminate spaces where a city can find new inspiration.

Parklücken proposes minimal support for the rogue activities prevalent in four specific gaps around Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin-Mitte. It creates free space for the people who need it, and use it, without permission.

The project establishes the minimal physical requirements for spontaneous activity which is normally displaced by investment interests.
